Hi, My name isANin and i was born with Albinism. I used to have someone telling me how light my skin is, telling me my eyes look different,

and my hair falls lighter than it should have been.

I am always a little insecure about my appearance,

whether i'm perceived as beautiful or not.

It worsened as i got older.

But today, I choose me

I may be an Albino, but above all else, i am a person.

And i believe that beauty has no standard.

Each of us is just uniquely beautiful on their own.

Don't let them define you and your beauty.

Anin (22) was born in Indonesia. She is the only one born with Albinism, a condition that reduces the ammount of pigment in her skin. It makes her look incredibly pale. This condition affects her health as her skin tend to be more sensitive to the sun and her eyes to the light. But the biggest struggle is the bullying.

However, she accepted it and move on. She now feel that her skin is a blessing in disguise. It shown her everything that she capable of withstanding and overcoming. it has let Anin know how strong can she be. She stopped trying to fit into moulds, stereotypes and assumptions. She stopped trying to please others. She choose herself, that gave her freedom. Freedom to be herself, to love herself and most importantly, to embrace her own skin and how uniquely beautiful she is.

She started her modelling career ever since and show her skin proudly.

This particular collection is inspired by Self-love. Whereby different colours symbolises different skin tone. Like a sound, colour is a vibration which is absorbed through the eyes of an observer and sends a signal which may influence his or her perception and experience of what is seen.As colours can make an impact on others, they can also change your feelings and easily boost your mood and self-confidence.
